Professional & Friendly Family Dentistry in St. Albert

Why I Love My Work

As a family dentist, I treat patients of all ages, providing each person with individualized attention. Our office offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere, with an emphasis on patient comfort. Having been in practice for over 30 years, I am proud to be serving our third generation of patients.

My goal is to help people and I find that dentistry is the perfect vehicle to achieve that goal. I can help people get out of pain, assist them in reaching great oral health, and create a beautiful smile for them, too. All the while, I develop real friendships, and I look forward to their visits as a chance to hear what’s been happening in their lives and with their family.

My Education and Commitment to Continuing Education

I received my Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery(DDS) Degree from the University of Alberta. Since graduating, I have continued to expand my knowledge and skills, through participation in numerous continuing education courses. In addition to studying technological and treatment developments in General Dentistry, I have also studied Orthodontics, Dental Implants, Neuromodulators (also known as “Botox”) and DNA Appliance Treatment for Sleep Apnea. By staying at the leading-edge, I am able to offer my patients the latest, proven dental care for the best outcomes and treatment experience.

Outside the Office

I was born and raised in Edmonton, and have lived here in St. Albert since 1985. I enjoy spending time with my wife, our 3 adult daughters and their families. When I’m not working, you might find me on the tennis court or jogging around town. I also enjoy scuba diving and reading.

I’m an active member of my church and a member of Gideons International in Canada. As a Clinical Associate Professor in the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Alberta, I have enjoyed teaching Dental Students for over 25 years.
